Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

Beamhaus ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information when you visit our website, engage us for services, or use our Beamhaus Social social media scheduling product.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly to us, such as:

  • Name and email address when you submit a contact form
  • Company name and role when you book a discovery call
  • Email address when you subscribe to our newsletter
  • Account and content information via OAuth when you connect a social media account to Beamhaus Social (see Section 3)

We use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics tool that does not collect personal data or use cookies. No personal information is shared with third parties for analytics purposes.

3. Data Collected Through Beamhaus Social (TikTok, Meta, and Other Social Integrations)

Beamhaus Social is our managed social media scheduling product. When you connect a social media account such as TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, or Threads, you authorize us to access specific data through that platform's OAuth system, scoped to only what is needed to schedule and publish content on your behalf.

3.1 TikTok

For TikTok integrations, we request the following scopes and data:

  • user.info.basic — your public TikTok user ID, display name, and avatar, used to identify the connected account in the Beamhaus Social dashboard.
  • user.info.profile — your public profile details such as bio description and profile link, used to display account context in our dashboard.
  • video.list — the list of videos you have previously posted, used so clients can see the content Beamhaus Social has published on their behalf.
  • video.upload — permission to upload video content as drafts to your TikTok account.
  • video.publish — permission to publish scheduled video content to your TikTok account at the time you or your account manager selects.

3.2 Facebook Pages

For Facebook Page integrations, we request the following scopes and data:

  • pages_show_list — the list of Facebook Pages you manage, so you can select which Page to connect to Beamhaus Social.
  • pages_read_engagement — engagement metrics (likes, comments, shares) on posts published through Beamhaus Social, used to show performance in your dashboard.
  • pages_manage_posts — permission to create, schedule, and publish posts to your Page on your behalf.
  • pages_manage_metadata — permission to read Page settings needed to configure publishing (e.g. connected Instagram account, Page category).
  • business_management — access to the Business Manager assets you explicitly grant, used only to locate and connect the correct Page.

3.3 Instagram (Business and Standalone)

For Instagram integrations, we request the following scopes and data:

  • instagram_business_basic — your public Instagram business account ID, username, and profile picture, used to identify the connected account.
  • instagram_business_content_publish — permission to upload and publish image, video, and carousel content to your Instagram account on your behalf.
  • instagram_business_manage_insights — post-level performance metrics (reach, impressions, engagement), used to show performance in your dashboard.

3.4 Threads

For Threads integrations, we request the following scopes and data:

  • threads_basic — your public Threads profile information, used to identify the connected account.
  • threads_content_publish — permission to publish text and media posts to your Threads account on your behalf.
  • threads_manage_insights — post-level performance metrics, used to show performance in your dashboard.

Content you upload (video, image, and text) that you or your account manager upload to Beamhaus Social is stored on our servers only for as long as needed to schedule and publish it. Published content is delivered to the connected platform and retained there according to that platform's own policies. Draft content that has not been published is retained until you delete it or your account is closed.

We do not use your social media content, account data, or audience information for advertising, to train machine learning models, or for any purpose other than providing the scheduling service you requested.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to your inquiries and provide our services
  • Schedule and publish social media content on your behalf via Beamhaus Social
  • Send newsletters and service updates you have opted into
  • Improve our website and services
  • Comply with legal obligations

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with service providers who help us operate our business (email delivery, hosting, CRM), but only as necessary to provide our services.

When you use Beamhaus Social with a connected platform such as TikTok, content you schedule is delivered to that platform's servers at your instruction and becomes subject to that platform's own privacy policy and terms of service.

6. Revoking Access and Deleting Data

You can revoke Beamhaus Social's access to a connected account at any time by visiting that platform's own account settings (e.g. TikTok Settings > Manage Account > Apps, or Facebook Settings > Business Integrations), or by contacting privacy@beamhaus.co.uk. Upon revocation or account closure, we delete OAuth access tokens and any stored draft content associated with the connection within 30 days, except where we are required by law to retain certain records.

7. Your Rights (GDPR / UK GDPR)

If you are in the EU/EEA or the UK, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction or deletion of your data
  • Object to or restrict processing of your data
  • Data portability
  • Withdraw consent at any time

8. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as necessary to provide our services and comply with legal obligations. Newsletter subscribers can unsubscribe at any time, and we will delete their data within 30 days. OAuth tokens and connected-account data for Beamhaus Social are retained for the duration of your active subscription plus 30 days.
